My Love

I’m a sucker for a fantasy world. Moments that can make you feel like you’re on top of a mountain when you’ve had a day far from perfect. Books, movies and music give us the ability to shift between fantasy and reality but I never thought I’d find my own person who could make my world feel like the perfect balance between the two. He is sweet and calm and the wind in my world that throws me in every direction. Towards the good, the great and the most challenging but he makes me better and see brighter. I never thought I would find someone who takes my mind and runs with me at the same pace it moves. Without a question he is in my corner, batting on the same team, running the same race.

Not in my wildest dreams would I have thought that the love of my life would be on the other side of the world and somehow without knowing each other we would fall perfectly into each others lives. My heart ebb and flows as we come and go from each others homes but living in the knowledge that we are each others safe place. I feel ‘at home’ with him in any part of the world just as I feel at home with my parents where I grew up. I want to say I hit the jackpot, but it’s cheesy and I’m not much into gloating. However, there are a few moments I will allow for this and he is one of them. He is the reason my heart swells, yearns and feels more than it ever has. He is mine and I am his and it’s over the top but so am I. But it’s true, its real and it’s not a fantasy. That’s fucking cool.
